The First Supersonic Flight from Toulouse

In the early hours of March 2, 1969, engineers, technicians, and journalists gathered at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport. On the runway stood the Concorde, an elegant white aircraft with a distinctive pointed nose. This day was set to witness the first flight of a supersonic passenger plane, the result of a joint effort between France and the United Kingdom.
