In early December 1791, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lay in his apartment in Vienna, surrounded by family and friends. He was ill and exhausted, yet he continued to strive to complete his final work, the Requiem. The atmosphere was tense, as everyone realized that Mozart's condition was rapidly deteriorating. Despite the pain and weakness, he tried to dictate notes so that his music could be finished even after his death.

Mozart died on December 5th at the young age of just 35, leaving behind an unfinished Requiem. His death immediately sparked speculation about the cause, ranging from illness to poisoning. Although the exact cause of his death was never determined, it is certain that his passing marked the loss of one of the greatest musical talents of his time. His funeral was modest, as was customary then, and his grave remained unmarked.

Mozart's legacy, however, endured. His compositions became the foundation of classical music and influenced generations of composers worldwide. His operas such as "Don Giovanni" and "The Marriage of Figaro" remain part of the repertoire of opera houses. Although his life ended too soon, his music lives on and continues to inspire listeners with its depth and beauty.
